How Zenexus works
The same structure for a casual evening or a league running for several seasons: an organisation, its competitions, their championships, and the teams or players who sign up.
The building blocks of a competition
Organisation
Your structure, worldwide or tied to a continent, a country or a region, with its owner and organisers. Every action is written to its log: who created, placed or changed what, and when.
Circuit
Optional: it groups the competitions of one series, season after season. A circuit’s games are worked out from its championships.
Competition
Solo or team-based, chosen at creation. A number of spots if needed and, for teams, a maximum roster size. In preparation, live, then finished, never backwards.
Championships
Tiers, from the first (the highest) to the last, and several divisions on the same tier. Each championship has its events: a game, in a format (1v1, 2v2…), on chosen platforms.
Sign-ups
Teams and players apply; organisers place them in a championship and can move them while the competition is in preparation.
How a season runs
- The organiser creates the competition: solo or team-based, dates, spots, maximum roster size.
- They add the championships, their events and, if needed, roster rules: at least so many players from the same country, continent or region as the team.
- Teams and players apply from the competition page.
- The organiser places each applicant in a championship. Zenexus checks spots, roster size and rules.
- Each team sets its line-ups: which players play which event.
- The competition goes live. Line-ups only change during a transfer window, then the competition ends.
What comes next
Match results, honours and rankings for teams and players come in a future version. Only competitions from organisations affiliated with Zenidai will count towards honours.
